How it works
- You send a request. Location, bill, roof, and photos if you have them.
- We call you within 24 hours. A booker goes through the job with you and agrees the deposit.
- The installer books in. Once the deposit is in, we book a vetted installer team and confirm the date.
- Installation. The installer does the work. We stay in touch until the job is done.
Who is responsible for what
pinoysolar.com books vetted installers and holds your deposit. The installer is responsible for the quality of the installation and the hardware vendor is responsible for equipment warranty. We help you get it booked and keep it on schedule.
Questions
What does pinoysolar.com actually do?
We are a booking agent. We take your request, call you to understand the job, arrange a vetted installer team, collect and hold your deposit, and keep the job on schedule. We do not manufacture, sell or install equipment ourselves.
What happens after I submit the form?
A booker reads your request, including any photos and bills you uploaded, and calls you within 24 hours. On the call they confirm the details, answer your questions and explain the price range and deposit. Nothing is booked until you agree.
How much is the deposit, and how do I pay it?
The deposit is agreed with you on the call before anything is booked. You can pay by GCash or bank transfer. We send you a written confirmation of the amount and what it covers. [TBD: standard deposit amount or percentage.]
Can I get my deposit back?
If we cannot book an installer for your job, you get the full deposit back. Other refund cases (you cancel, the site turns out to be unsuitable, the date changes) are set out in the booking terms. [TBD: refund rules are still being finalised.]
Who handles the warranty?
Two warranties apply, from two different parties. The installer is responsible for the workmanship: mounting, wiring, waterproofing and making the system work as installed. The hardware vendor or manufacturer is responsible for the equipment itself: panels, inverter and battery. We help you reach the right party if something goes wrong, but we do not give either warranty ourselves.
How long does it take?
Typical timelines: a call within 24 hours of your request, a site check within about a week, and installation usually one to three days on site for a home system once equipment is available. Larger or off-grid systems take longer. The booker will give you dates for your job on the call.
Do I need permits or approval from the utility?
Grid-tied and hybrid systems connected to VECO, CEBECO or another utility may need net-metering or interconnection paperwork. The booker will tell you what applies to your system and who handles it before you commit.
What should I upload?
Clear photos of the roof (from the ground and up close if safe), your latest electric bill, any existing panels or inverter, and quotes from other installers if you have them. They help us give you a useful call instead of a generic one.
Where do you work?
Cebu province, including Metro Cebu and Mactan. Outside that, send the form anyway and we will tell you whether we can help.
